Job Description:
- Assist in implementing and updating the plant’s Food Safety (ISO 22000), Quality (ISO 9001), HACCP, Organic, and Halal Management Systems certified by 3rd party certification bodies.
- Perform QC for incoming raw material, in-process and finished products.
- Supporting the operation line (quality control/ troubleshooting) and ensuring products released are to meet the requirements before, during and after production.
- Responsible for coordination of QC sample shipment and testing with external testing laboratories
- Acts as QC document controller through liaison with QA document control
- Assist in liaison with government agencies/certification bodies on new product registration and certification information
- Monitoring and maintenance of correction and corrective action rectification from suppliers, in-house inspections and daily routine checks.
- Conduct periodical food safety and hygiene inspections and training where evidence of compliance is lacking.
- Assist in daily procurement operation tasks of consumables, including maintaining a list of approved suppliers, pricing and delivery time.
Requirement:
- Ability to work in a cold environment.
- Punctual, responsible, good working attitude, good team player and able to work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision
- Applicants with WSQ Certification in Food Hygiene and Halal Certification.
- Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and quality control standards (e.g., HACCP, GMP).
- Familiarity with sensory evaluation techniques and microbiological testing.
- Preferably more than 8 years of QA/QC experience and product development in the manufacturing sector.
- Good communication skills to collaborate with various stakeholders.
