Job Description
- Oversee/ carry out regular Data centre (DC) facility work including vendor management.
- In troubleshooting, responsible for taking immediate action and promptly performing recovery process against any system failure, service failure or building structure problem in timely manner
- Overseeing the performance of various equipment, ensuring efficiency and continuous improvement of services to enable contribution to the success of the entire business
- Make mid-long term facility replancement plan for improvement (stable and effective) for DC facility, carry out along the plan.
- Make site tour of DC facility and support proposal for sales, also arrange/ response to customer related to DC service on behalf of sales (when requested).
- Establishment of necessary operation procedure, maintenance procedure and emergency procedure to preserve good condition to the premises and all equipment or environment in data center.
- Train NOC member for enabling 1st level troubleshooting of DC facility.
- Any other duties reasonably associated with this position.
Job Requirements
- At least 5 year's experience in data center maintenance or operation management.
- Basic understanding of building facility management, electrical/or mechanical equipment such as generator, High/Medium Voltage equipment, generator, transformer, UPS , CRAC , CCTV , Access permission system and fire extinguisher are required.
- Risk Management: Understanding risk assessment and mitigation strategies related to data center operations, including disaster recovery planning, business continuity, physical security protocols, and compliance with relevant industry standards and regulations.
- At least 3 years' experience of member (people) management.
- SLA’s and KPI delivery experience, Setup operational KPI and planning periodic preventive maintenance plan for each targeted Electrical and Mechanical equipment.
- Communication skills: - good communication with customers, other department member, vendors and utilities suppliers in English.
- Strong Customer Relation skills - for handling with requirement, complaints from customers.
- Administrative skills: - Ability to people /or organization management and maintaining relevant information to support the business.
