Responsibilities
· Data Visualization & Reporting: Develop, design, and maintain advanced Tableau dashboards and reports that meet business needs.
· Data Analysis: Work closely with business users to understand their needs, analyze data, and translate business requirements into actionable insights.
· Database Connectivity: Connect Tableau to various data sources, including SQL databases, data warehouses, and cloud services.
· Collaboration: Collaborate with data engineers, data scientists, and business stakeholders to ensure data accuracy, consistency, and efficiency.
· Documentation: Document technical solutions, processes, and best practices for Tableau development.
Skills/Requirement
Must have Skills:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Science, or a related field.
- Experience: 4-7 years of experience in Tableau development and data visualization.
- Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in Tableau Desktop, Tableau Server, and Tableau Online.
- Strong SQL skills and experience with database management systems (e.g., SQL Server, MySQL, Oracle).
- Experience with ETL processes and data integration.
- Understanding of data warehousing concepts and data modeling.
- Familiarity with other data visualization tools is a plus.
- Soft Skills:
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Attention to detail and a passion for delivering high-quality work.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in working with large datasets and complex data models.
- Experience with cloud platforms (e.g.Azure) and integrating Tableau with cloud data sources.
- Knowledge of scripting languages like Python or R for data manipulation and analysis.
