Key Duties, Roles & Responsibilities:
- Act as the main contact for customer inquiries, oversee job file creation, and prepare all required documentation for both customer submissions and internal record-keeping.
- Provide prompt responses to customer inquiries and deliver freight quotations within the specified time frame.
- Support the Operations Department and Manager on special projects and offer backup assistance to the Customer Service team as needed.
- Attend to import and export shipment process and documentation preparation
- Prepares full set of shipping documentations such as packing lists, invoice and certificate of origin
- Monitor shipments’ departure and arrival
- Declare and apply custom permit related documents
- Coordinating Shipment and Delivery orders
- Liaising closely with various forwarders for shipment confirmation and shipment arrangements
- Liaise with customer/suppliers on shipment of orders
- Follow-up and advise customers on shipment status
- Able to resolve customer complaints in professional manner
Requirements:
- Diploma or Degree holders, preferably and specialized in Logistics, Supply Chain, or equivalent
- Knowledge of Freight Forwarding and Logistics is a plus.
- Understanding of customer service principles and practices.
- Familiarity with relevant computer software applications.
- Proficiency in English communication skills.
