Responsibilities
- File Opening Procedures, including conflict checks and client/matter data input.
- Support the lawyers for preparation of matters - Documents, forms & filing required.
- Managing records and calendars to make sure everything functions smoothly.
- Managing matters deadlines, monitoring the progress of the matter, and generating matter status report
- Compliance with the regulatory SOP processes.
- Ensures that invoices / bills are processed and sent to the client on time
- Monitors that payments are received
- Prepare invoices/ billing and statement of accounts (Optional)
- Attending to routine client enquiries and communications.
- Scheduling appointments.
- Managing matter deadlines, monitoring the progress of the matter, and generating matter status reports.
- Manage case closure and archiving process.
- Handle legal-related queries.
- Filing of documents via e-Litigation
- Providing administrative support to lawyers such other responsibilities as the Lawyers may assign from time to time.
Requirements
- An effective communicator, both orally and in writing, with a good command of English.
- Ability to handle multiple projects and deliver quality work under pressure and within the deadline.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, and the ability to build good working relationships with people at all levels.
- A team player.
