Job Description:
- Work with the Director of Business Development to establish clear, identified and achieveable sales targets
- Proactively secure new accounts for meetings and events market segment of the hotel in line with overall financial business mix objectives and implements strategies and action plans and clinch potential business
- Maintain a high level of exposure for the hotel in the agreed segment through direct sales solicitation, telephone, fax, contact and written communication
- Arrange familliarization/ site inspection trips to Hotels by major clients
- Conduct market research and competitor surveys
- Prepare daily and other reports as needed
- To carry out any other duties and responsibilities as assigned
Job Requirements
- At least 3 years management experience with international hotel chain particularly in Sales & Marketing/Catering Dept.
- Minimum Certificate / Diploma in Sales & Marketing
- Knowledge with Microsoft Office.
- Able to thrive in a highly competitive environment.
- Able to manage large and diverse staff in a localised setting.
- Possess essential and decisive leadership traits and be able to impart knowledge to junior employees.
- Demonstrate a strong customer service mindset.
- Well groomed, presentable and able to articulate ideas well.
