An established Chemical MNC base in the west area has a new headcount for a Procurement Executive for their food ingredient related division.
Duties:
- Take care of full procurement functions which includes understanding requirements from sales and liaise with suppliers on requirements as well as performing evaluation, negotiation and awarding of orders .
- Perform sourcing that includes RFP/tender.
- Ensure alternative suppliers pipelines are developed and coordinate their qualification and approval.
- Manage suppliers and monitor to ensure product quality, pricing and services are align to company's interest.
- Communicate with Sales and Supply Chain team on supply / delivery related matters for contract.
- Engage and work with suppliers for regulatory documentation support for sales team.
- Follow up with sales team on projects status and provide feedback to supplier.
- Take note of market trends and ensure information are shared with sales team
- Other Ad-hoc assignment by Superior.
Requirements:
- Minimum Diploma in Procurement, Supply Chain, Chemistry or equivalent qualification.
- At least 3 years of relevant working experience in Food and Beverage, Food Ingredient or Chemical Trading industry.
- Possess experience in vendor management and contract negotiations will be an advantage.
- Able to work independently under minimal supervision, self motivated, proactive and a team player.
- Able to communicate well with good interpersonal skills and able to work in fast-paced environment
