Responsibilities:
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Developing an annual sales plan which details activities to follow during the fiscal year, and which focuses on meeting organizational objectives.
- Developing new, innovative ideas of marketing the company's herbal ingredient products.
- Contacting prospective customers
- Conducting market research to expand customer base
- Servicing customer accounts through regular contact, creating sales quotations, handling customer requirements, and supervising product shipment
- Attending industry tradeshows and conferences
- Identifying and evaluating ingredient trends
- Working with the Purchasing Marketing Department to create related marketing materials
- Tracking sales figures and meeting sales objectives
- Handling CPG orders when necessary
Qualifications:
- 5 years of sales or marketing experience in the Medicine and Herbs
- Prior knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices including product specifications, Certificates of Analysis and Vendor Qualification preferred.
- Exceptional customer service skills, professional phone manner, pleasant demeanor.
- Excellent presentation and interpersonal skills
- Ability to handle many details in a medium paced environment.
- Ability to organize and work independently
- Competent working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Outlook), Acrobat, and Internet Explorer.
