- Engaged in the preparation of engineering drafting input for building and construction projects, with particular emphasis on structural steel.
- Drafting of detailed engineering drawings, shop and fabrication drawings, cutting lists and nesting plans etc.
- Generating the Materials Requisition Form (RF) to facilitate procurement.
- Ensure all works to be performed as per technical and project specification, guidelines and Company procedures, under the supervision and approval of senior staff.
- Undertake back-drafting of drawings to reflect correction and amendments.
- Revise drawings to incorporate subsequent modifications.
- Assists in the production of as-built drawings following receipt of marked up drawings from the project teams.
- Carry out engineering site surveys to ascertain physical site situations for incorporation as details in drawings.
- Attend technical meeting at site on an ad-hoc basis.
- Perform any tasks that are required by Management and as assigned for upholding the ISO 9001 and OHSAS 18001 Integrated Management System.
