Job Description
- Oversee operations in both chill and cold storage environments, with temperatures ranging from -18°C to 17°C.
- Ensure compliance with safety and health standards in low-temperature work environments.
- Supervise and manage warehouse staff in chill and cold rooms, ensuring tasks are completed efficiently and safely.
- Monitor and control the proper storage of goods in temperature-specific zones to maintain product integrity.
- Ensure accurate and timely picking, packing, and dispatching of goods from cold and chill rooms.
- Track stock levels in chill and cold storage areas, and promptly report any shortages to the warehouse executive or supervisor.
- Notify the QA team or warehouse supervisor immediately upon identifying any quality issues with raw materials, finished goods, or packaging.
- Enforce adherence to standard operating procedures (SOPs) for handling temperature-sensitive products.
- Promote and maintain a safe working environment, ensuring all team members comply with health and safety regulations for low-temperature work.
- Lead and train warehouse staff to ensure their performance meets operational goals, focusing on working efficiently in both cold and chill rooms.
Encourage team discipline, collaboration, and high accuracy in picking and packing operations.
