- Responsible for the full set of accounts e.g. AP/AR/GL
- Ensuring completeness, accuracy and compliance with accepted accounting principles
- Produces ledger balance for reporting purposes
- Month end closing process and quarterly financial reports for management purposes
- Processing high volume of payment through e-banking system
- Handle Tax and GST submission
- Liaison with Auditor for year-end auditing
- Prepare payroll, fill Employment Income and claim government paid leaves
- Be able to prepare budget and forecast cash flow
Requirements
- At least 1-2 years of experience
- Good knowledge of Microsoft application especially in Excel
- Able to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Independent with excellent leadership skill neat, organized and meticulous

Others:
Liaise with counterparties/bankers for Import and Export issuance.
- Handle accounts receivable and payable for physical products trading deals.
- Liaise with bankers for Letters of Credit (LC) negotiation, documents preparation and submission.
- Liaise with Operations for trade/shipment information and follow-up with HQ on the payment signing process.
- Handle cargo and direct expenses payments.
- Review trade contracts and maintain updated information in the trade system.
- Deliver accurate trade information for monthly closing to Accounts.
- Provide payment and collection information for funding arrangement to Treasury.
- Any other duties as assigned.
- Degree in Finance/Banking/Commerce/Maritime Studies or equivalent.
- Minimum 5 years relevant experience in Trade Finance, from oil & gas industry or bank trade finance section is preferred.
- Letter of Credit (LC) knowledge is compulsory.
- Good interpersonal and communication skills.
- Good quantitative skills and meticulous.
- Oversee and lead a team of Finance Assistants and Executives in performing accounting services and ensure compliance with financial regulations
- Perform full sets of accounts with AP/AR adjustment, GL reconciliation
- Review monthly journal entries for month-end and year-end closings
- Follow-up monthly statement of Accounts Reconciliation
- Monthly balance sheet schedule
- Managing annual budgets and liaising with internal and external auditors
- Produce financial reports according to statutory deadlines and ensure timely submissions as required
- Cash flow management & control (predicting future trends), recommending financial actions by analyzing accounting options
- Financial analysis & reporting (i.e. balance sheet, profit and loss statement) and reconciliation of financial discrepancies by collecting & analyzing account information.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee maintenance activities for the upkeep of plant and machinery, factory and office building and dormitory;
- Be responsible for implementing house rules and regulations to ensure the in-house dormitory operations conform to the prevailing laws and regulations;
- Monitor and supervise day-to-day workshop operation and performance including inventory control, planning and organizing production schedules of machinery racks and other support functions to facilitate the rental and sales order fulfillment;
- Be responsible for the Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) regulations compliance; and
- Ensure proper documentation and compliance with ISO work procedures and statutory requirements.
· Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance, or equivalent with minimum 5 years of relevant working experience
· Good organization, interpersonal and communication skills
· Strong leadership skills and eye for details
· Willing to roll up sleeves to hands-on
