Responsibilities:
- Work with project team to create, maintain and transition series manufacturing of new product.
- Specifying and/or refining BOMs, work flow processes, manufacturing plan and detailed work instructions.
- Conceptualise, document, procure, qualify, implement, and improve fixtures, tools and equipment for prototype, pre-series and series manufacturing.
- Analyze manufacturing line from a risk perspective (PFMEA) to incorporate and validate critical tests used in manufacturing.
- Provide production and technical support through successful and sustained project launch.
- Support identification of and implementation of continuous improvement projects with respect to first pass yield, cycle time reduction, product reliability, capacity enhancement and cost reduction.
- Takes responsibility for maintaining compliance of the quality system including corrective action closure, discrepant material dispositions and ECP implementation.
Requirements:
- Diploma/Degree in the field of engineering
- Minimum 2–3 years’ experience preferred in manufacturing environment
- Preferably 1–2 years’ experience in a machinery production environment
- Preferably possess knowledge of SMT Technology, application, and work processes
- Preferably possess knowledge of LEAN methodology
- Possess knowledge in Total Quality Management (TQM) principles
- Able to carry out Continuous Improvement Activities
