Coffee Quality Assessment:
- Observe, measure, and record key aspects of coffee quality, including colour, moisture content, green coffee odour, roasting details, and other required information.
- Cup coffees using agreed-upon protocols and accurately capture results.
- Consistently maintain a high level of hygiene when handling or tasting coffee.
- Work closely with Quality Control departments worldwide
- Set up routine cupping according to established standards
- Monitor and report coffee sample inventory to avoid waste and losses.
- Maintain the sample room with a high level of organization and cleanliness, observing all safety protocol
- Collaborate with production plant/production team on green coffee demands and maintain quality standards
- Work closely with the team to understand and meet the demand and needs for green coffee coverage
Requirements:
- Strong interest in producing high quality, organically grown coffee
- Knowledge of Coffee Roasting and cupping
- Proficient in cupping and tasting coffee to assess quality
- Team player with a hands-on attitude.
- Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and contribute to a positive team environment
- Strong command of English language, both written and spoken.
