The Role
Reporting directly to the Group Head, Renewable Supply Feedstock in HQ, you will be responsible for expanding the company's renewable biofuel feedstock origination in Malaysia. The position requires a seasoned professional with extensive experience in renewable feedstock and project management.
This person may require undergoing a 6-month training at our Singapore HQ before transferring to our office in Johor, Malaysia.
Role Summary
- Oversee and manage all business operations within the country, ensuring compliance with local regulations and alignment with corporate strategies.
- Develop and implement business strategies to achieve company goals and objectives within the country.
- Lead, mentor, and develop the local team, fostering a high-performance culture and ensuring effective teamwork.
- Manage the country’s budget, ensuring financial targets are met and resources are allocated effectively.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including customers, partners, and government officials.
- Focus on growing the business within the assigned territory by identifying and pursuing new opportunities.
- Ensure the smooth execution of all sales and business development activities.
- Work closely with the HQ to align local strategies with Company’s objectives, ensure smooth communication, and implement company-wide initiatives effectively.
The Requirements
- A bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
- More than 5 years of experience with HVO feedstocks, including Used Cooking Oil, Animal Fats, Vegetable Oils, and Advanced Waste Oils.
- Demonstrated expertise in structuring off-take contracts and managing associated risks.
- Proficiency in trading risk management and supply chain optimization.
- Extensive knowledge of the Thailand market and adept at developing new business opportunities.
- Resilient and self-motivated, with strong leadership capabilities.
- Open to being based in Johor, Malaysia.
