Claudine is a neighbourhood French restaurant (Neo-brasserie), presenting an intimate side of French cuisine, inspired by honest home-cooking and convivial meals. A concept by Julien Royer and The Lo & Behold Group.


We are looking for a competent individual to fill the role of a Commis Cook. Pertaining to high standards of personal hygiene and food preparation within the kitchen, we look forward to filling this position with talented personas with an appetite to learn, along with an immense passion in creating remarkable flavours.


As a Commis Cook, your responsibilities include:

  • The ability to display the tenets of misc-en-place efficiently; including, setup of the array of ingredients, the process of preparing, caring for your workstation
  • Preparing a wide range of ingredients, meeting the highest standards of taste and presentation
  • Monitor inventory count, quality of ingredients, and place orders when there are shortages
  • Familiar with food safety regulations and ensure food is prepared and stored in a safe and sanitary manner
