Job Description
- Support lead auditor in audit engagements, including but not limited to:
- The identification of risks, includes evaluating the effectiveness of the Branch’s policies and procedures, internal controls and risk management framework with actual practices, and identify areas of potential risk, weakness and non-compliance issues and provide recommendations for improvement; and
- Defining key audit objectives, audit fieldwork, drafting of audit findings and issues discussion with stakeholders.
- Ensure that audit documentation complies with auditing standards and internal audit methodology
- Collaborate with management to address audit findings and follow up on the implementation of recommendations to completion.
- Coordinate and provide support to the Head Office Internal Audit
- Participate/ support in ad-hoc assignments, special reviews and independent investigations.
- Stay updated on industry regulations, standards, and best practices to ensure compliance and effective risk management.
Requirements
- Degree in Accountancy, Finance, Business Administration or a related field.
- Professional certification (or in the process of attaining) such as CA, CPA, ACCA, CIA would be an added advantage.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in audit/ risk management function from the banking industry.
- Ability to communicate effectively and collaborate with stakeholders at all levels.
- Possess initiatives, logical thinking, meticulous and good analytical abilities.
- Able to multitask and plan workload to ensure delivery within timeline.
- Team-oriented with a strong sense of ownership and accountability.
- Good written and verbal communication skills in English and Chinese language to liaise with internal and external stakeholders.
