Job Description :
To assist the Finance Manager in :
(1) Financial duties will include, but not limited to, the followings :
(a) Handling the day-to-day finance/accounting related activities, including processing of payments, cash advances etc.
(b) Collection of monies for events.
(c) Issuance of invoices to relevant parties.
(d) Handle all bank-related matters.
(e) Maintain a register of capital equipment and non-capital equipment.
(f) Conduct stock-take exercise for assets and consumables.
(g) Maintain/monitor Sport SG/SSI annual subsidies usage (data tracker) and coordinate with the Finance Manager accordingly.
(h) Assist in the semi-annual/annual budgeting process and related finance coordination work.
(i) Handle finance-related human resource functions such as payment of salaries and employment benefits and maintenance of leave records for all staff.
(2) Administrative duties will include, but not limited to, the followings :
(a) Manage general administrative matters such as but not limited to rental of facilities for coaches/training, purchase of supplies, maintenance of office premises, etc application or renewal of employment passes.
(b) Assist during local & locally-organised international fencing competitions.
(c) Assist in the organization of overseas training trips / competitions planned by the Association.
(d) Upkeep and maintain the office / storeroom.
(e) Liaise with affiliates / school clubs of the Association on general admin matters through quarterly updates and ad-hoc. correspondences on all matters (e.g. rental of equipment, distribution of magazines, etc).
(3) Provide any required information pertaining to finance and administration when requested for by the General Manager in a timely manner.
(4) All duties as laid out as per the Fencing Singapore Operations Handbook supplied and adherence to the Fencing Singapore Codes Of Ethics, Disciplinary Procedures & Safety Guidelines.
Job Specification
(1) Qualifications
Diploma preferably in Business Administration, Accountancy, or any other finance-related fields
(2) Experience
Min. 1 year of experience in accounting and administration
(3) Skills & Knowledge
· Able to speak and write in both English and Chinese
· Good communication skills (both written and spoken)
· Financial management skills
· Competence with computer software, especially with accounting systems, Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel
