Mechanical Technician
· We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Technician to join our team.
· The successful candidate will perform equipment servicing, troubleshooting, and repairs.
· Experience in heavy equipment manufacturing or dealership service/repair is preferred.
Responsibilities:
· Conduct new equipment pre-delivery inspections and rectification work as required
· Perform outdoor servicing of equipment
· Troubleshoot, rebuild, and overhaul heavy equipment engine and hydraulic pump systems (e.g., excavators, wheel loaders, articulated dump trucks, soil compactors, motor graders, bulldozers, skid steers, backhoe loaders)
· Prepare and repair equipment for rental/sale
· Maintain proper housekeeping and organization of workshop premises, tools, and equipment
· Perform other ad-hoc tasks as required
Requirement:
· NITEC or Diploma in Engineering-related field
· Ability to read and understand schematic diagrams and repair/service manuals for independent troubleshooting and repair
· Mechanical and electrical skills for heavy equipment (preferable)
· Possess a Class 3 driver's license (beneficial)
