Job Description:
- Ensures materials are received from proper vendors, that they are delivered to inventory and that finished goods are packaged according to specification and shipped in a timely manner
- Manages the activities of the team and is responsible for staffing decisions, training and development and performance management of staff
- Ensures materials are available to meet production schedules and/or products are shipped as per marketing schedules
- Maintains documentations to reflect the effectiveness and efficiency of department activities
- Ensuring shipments are shipped out per schedule
- Arrange shipment using various reports
- Lead a team of Planners to drive below responsibilities.
1) To manage the order demands and act as coordinator between CS and the plant pertaining to all issues regarding to the orders
2) To respond to all CS emails on all issues pertaining to the sale order (Pull-in/push out/cancelation/recommit/shipping info/close short/RMA issue)
3) Follow up on outstanding shipment issue with Plant PC/CS/OFT
4) Update & feedback the daily schedule for some specific past due orders
5) Request for close short on behalf of plant
6) Liaise with material planner for material availability
7) Liaise with FEE for new tool & dupe
8) Liaise with CS & FEE on ECN change implementation
9) Liaise with Plant PC & supervisors to expedite for shipment delinquency
10) Compile weekly OTD lateness reason report
11) To commit new ship date for new part upon completion of engineering study and material availability
12) Attend ad hoc meeting pertaining to order shipment issue
13) Monitor & gate the forecase loading from CS
Job Requirements:
- Min Diploma/Degree in Manufacturing, Electrical or Engineering discipline
- Min 3 years of related experience in Manufacturing planning
- Profiency in MS Excel, Google
- Knowledge in Oracle application preferred
