Overview:
Our Esteemed Healthcare client is seeking an Senior / Executive for their Data Protection Office. Successful candidate will be part of the team to implement initiatives in strengthening data protection and privacy in the organisation and ensure compliance with national legislations and organisational policies.
Job Description:
- Ensure compliance with data protection policies and procedures.
- Guide stakeholders on managing data breaches per regulations.
- Assess data management for potential protection risks.
- Respond to data requests and improve data management practices.
- Conduct audits and ensure data protection integration in processes.
- Create reports and presentations for stakeholder education.
- Present data protection updates in briefings and discussions.
- Address internal and external queries.
- Stay updated on data protection laws and best practices and support departmental operations and projects as needed.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in any discipline. Data Protection / Governance / IT related preferred
- Minimum 1 year of relevant experience in healthcare and/or in data protection, compliance, audit or legal work
- Proficient in IT systems, applications and/or AI
For candidates with more working experience, they may be considered for more senior position
