Local Regulatory Reporting
• Responsible for timely and accurate submission of MAS returns. Refer to appendix for the latest list of
MAS reporting obligation.
• Organise within the Singapore Fin Control team / Regulatory Reporting team to ensure proper roles
segregation with “Reviewer” and “Preparer” for all MAS reporting across all submission frequency to
control reporting quality.
• Provide guidance to Finance team members and other departments (including Credit and Operations)
on the preparation of MAS Returns and other regulatory returns with financial reporting
requirements.
• Maintain and implement effective controls over the relevant systems and process to ensure
Regulatory reporting quality.
• Provide timely and accurate update on daily key Regulatory ratios to relevant stakeholders.
• Drive UAT of new accounting projects and initiatives relating to MAS regulatory function.
• Drive initiatives to enhance regulatory reporting data quality. Collaborate with other functions to
identify and manage regulatory reporting risks including data quality issues resolution.
• Ensure proper documentation of local regulatory reporting procedure and MAS returns productions
manual in line with MAS reporting requirement and MAS guideline.
2. Financial Control
• Deputise in the absence of the Financial Controller
• Ensure timely GL accounts reconciliation
• Responsible for GL reconciliation breaks investigation and documentation of investigation and
resolution outcome
• Undertake any other ad-hoc financial control related tasks when assigned, including but limited to:
o Handling Statutory Audits and Financial Reporting
o Accounts Verification
o Cross-Departmental Projects, particularly related to source data integrity for regulatory /
financial reporting quality.
o Drive changes for branch-wide cross-functions for process improvement and effective
financial control.
Process Management
• Provide updates on regulatory reporting quality issue to the local branch’s risk and compliance
management committee.
• Provide updates on regulatory reporting quality issue for the ERM monthly attestation
