About the job
- Review and manage accounting related works, ensuring accurate and timely posting of journal entries onto the accounting system.
- Oversee the preparation and review of audit schedules, ensuring full compliance and timely submissions.
- Liaise with external auditors and regulatory bodies, ensuring accurate documentation and responses.
- Coordinate year-end closing processes and assist with external audits, ensuring smooth execution and timely reporting.
- Support finance project management initiatives, particularly focusing on our insurance accounting system replacement to enhance data flow for premium reserves, technical accounting figures, claims, and other financial metrics.
Skills and experience required
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- At least 6 years of experience in accounting, ideally with insurance industry experience
- Strong knowledge of audit processes, financial reporting, and compliance.
- Experience with accounting system transitions and project management is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to work cross-functionally.
