Requirements
- Recognized Degree in Civil/Structural Engineering acceptable for registration with the PE Board, Singapore
- Accredited with IES/ACES with a valid Resident Engineer Practicing Certificate.
- Minimum 10 years’ experience in multi-storey building with basement construction, foundation bored pile, preferably in steel and precast building construction and having experience in healthcare projects
- Must be registered and practicing Resident Engineer for the past 5 years.
- Must be familiar with local Regulations/Codes for Civil & Structural related to building projects.
- A good team player and experience in leading a team of Resident Technical Officers.
- Carry out regular site checks on Builder and ensure compliance on health and work safety in accordance with MOM.
- Supervision of C&S and Architecture works by identifying any non-conformity of contractor’s works on site.
- Strong ability to interpret the drawings and contract documents on works to be carried.
- Supervision and manage site supervisors with respect to C&S and Architecture Work
- Ability to resolve site and technical issues, prepare and document detailed site progress reports.
- Knowledge in Microsoft Word, Excel, and AutoCAD
- Able to start work early Nov/Dec 2024.
Job Description
- Manage a team of technical supervisors on site to ensure that all site activities comply with the regulations and client's requirements.
- Work closely with our Project Management Team, Professional Engineers, Client, Contractors and local regulatory authorities so as to provide planning, design and leadership not only to solve site problems
- Responsible for implementing and sustaining the site supervision quality & safety assurance system.
- To report to C&S QP, works closely with the regulatory authorities and contractors to provide supervision on site, resolve all site issues and ensure timely completion of the projects.
- To be competent in carrying out supervision of structural works by identifying any non-conformity of contractor's works on site. The appointed person must have the strong ability to interpret the drawings and contract documents on works to be carried.
- Appointed person possesses a complete understanding of local requirements, especially to comply with BCA's criteria for build-ability and safety assurance system.
- To carry out regular site checks on Builder and ensure compliance on health and work safety in accordance with MOM.
- To manage the site supervisors with respect to C&S engineering works, architectural and M&E engineering works.
- To attend site, progress, variation and coordination meetings
- Interpret drawings and contract documents on works to be carried.
- To carry out site regular site checks on contractor’s temporary and permanent works to ensure compliances with health and safety in accordance to MOM Regulations
- Ensure proper and up to date site documentation for on-going and completed works, site meetings, safety record , as-built submission etc.
