- Ensures all inventory transactions are completed on-time and maintain stock accuracy.
- Conduct inventory count and assist to verify stock discrepancies.
- Organize the layout of warehouse and ensure effective utilization of warehouse spacing.
- Selects, develops and evaluates personnel to ensure the efficient operation of the function.
- Be responsible to plan and oversee day-to-day operations in warehouse by ensuring adequate manpower to perform warehouse duties.
- Plan and coordinate with customer service and operations to ensure timely operations (shipments clearance and delivery) execution.
- To be competent with the IT tools implemented and to optimise the usage.
- Establish and maintain good relations with the customers and address operational concerns.
- Manage WSH activities to ensure department’s compliance to requirements
- Perform safety and health risk assessment.
- Suggest improvements to eliminate hazards, feedback on inadequacy of operational control, risk assessment and safe work procedure.
- To ensure the cleanliness of the warehouse and proper and safe functioning of warehouse tools, facilities and equipment.
- Facilitate interactions between internal and external partners to implement technology projects.
- Review areas in logistics operations where technology can enhance processes.
