Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Calibration Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining and calibrating automated control panels, skid systems, and various instruments. The Calibration Technician will play a crucial role in ensuring the functionality and accuracy of instrumentation equipment, contributing to the overall efficiency of the organization.
Responsibilities:
- Calibration and Testing
Perform line checking, loop checking, and input-output checking using Process Meters.
Repair, test, and troubleshoot faulty instruments, ensuring adherence to scheduled timelines.
- Installation and Commissioning:Install, test, and commission new instrumentation equipment.
Conduct air tube testing, termination on both field and panel, and ensure compliance with safety standards.
- Documentation:Prepare comprehensive documentation for all calibration, testing, and commissioning activities.
Maintain accurate records of work performed, instrument status, and calibration schedules.
- Professional Experience:Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Calibration Technician.
Familiarity with designing software.
Completion of safety courses in building construction supervision and oil/petrochemical industry safety for supervisors.
Qualifications:
- Diploma in Instrumentation & Control Engineering from a recognized institution or ITE Graduate.
- Relevant certifications in calibration and instrumentation.
- Strong understanding of automated PLC control panels and skid systems.
Skills and Abilities:
- Proficient in using Process Meters and other calibration tools.
- Excellent troubleshooting skills for identifying and resolving instrument faults.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and documentation skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
- Good communication skills and a commitment to safety protocols.
