Responsibilities:
- Oversee tooling contract reviews, mold design evaluations, mold trials, and project review meetings
- Collaborate with Designers, Manufacturing Engineers, and Planners to track tool fabrication progress and ensure on-time delivery
- Provide timely updates and Gantt charts to the BD team
- Participate in mold testing and optimize molding processes for consistent part quality
- Review FA reports for dimensional adjustments according to customer product fit, form, and function requirements
- Lead problem-solving initiatives, including identifying issues and conducting root cause analysis
- Coordinate with suppliers on outsourced tooling-related tasks and resolve any issues
- Offer technical support to the BD team and customers, and prepare quotes for engineering change requests
Other Information
- Diploma or NITEC in Precision Machining, Tooling Technology, or related fields
- Experience in project management with a strong technical foundation in tooling
- Excellent analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to evaluate, diagnose, and troubleshoot technical problems
- A team player who can work independently with minimal supervision
