As we continue to grow, we are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Part-Time Supply Chain Assistant to join our team.
As a Supply Chain Assistant at CPO, you will be an integral part of our logistics and operations team, providing support in various aspects of the supply chain process. From inventory management to customer communication, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth flow of goods and information. The ideal candidate will be highly organized, efficient, and capable of multitasking in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Product Handling: Inspect, sort, pack, arrange, categorize, and scan products according to established procedures to ensure accuracy and quality.
- Data Entry: Perform basic data entry tasks to maintain accurate records and track inventory and order status.
- Customer Communication: Respond to email inquiries from customers promptly and professionally, providing updates on order status and addressing any concerns or questions.
- Coordination: Coordinate with internal teams and external partners to ensure timely delivery of orders and resolve any issues or discrepancies that may arise.
- Shipping Documentation: Assist with the preparation of shipping documents, including packing slips, bills of lading, and shipping labels.
- Inventory Management: Monitor inventory levels and assist with inventory management tasks, such as stock replenishment and cycle counting.
- Process Improvement: Collaborate with team members to identify opportunities for process improvement and efficiency gains within the supply chain.
- Team Support: Support other members of the logistics team as needed, taking on additional tasks and responsibilities as assigned.
- Compliance: Adhere to company policies and procedures, as well as safety and compliance regulations, to ensure a safe and productive work environment.
- Additional Duties: Perform any other duties as required to support the smooth operation of the supply chain and logistics department.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or training in logistics or supply chain management is a plus.
- Prior experience in a warehouse, logistics, or supply chain role preferred but not required.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy, with the ability to perform repetitive tasks efficiently.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other basic computer skills required.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Willingness to learn and take on new responsibilities as needed.
- Comfortable with working at night
