Our client, a leading healthcare organisation in Singapore is currently seeking a candidate to join them as a Research Assistant (Lab).
Job Responsibilities:
- Perform experiments not limited to immunostaining, flow cytometry, cell culture and advanced imaging techniques
- Set up and run tissue processing protocols for different sample types
- Manage in-house research laboratory together with the Research Scientist to ensure that basic laboratory processes and operations are in place
- Ensure relevant administrative documentation and procurement are carried out in a timely manner to support the operations of the Lab
- Handle Research Lab budget, document and tabulate financial payments pertaining to the lab expenditure
- Work together with the Research Scientist to carry out appropriate tissue banking protocols for different downstream applications
- Co-ordinate sample collection with research co-ordinators and medical personnel and ensure samples are stored in appropriate and timely manner
Job Requirements:
- Degree in relevant disciplines
- Minimum 2 years of lab work experience with experiments
- Prior experience in immunostaining, flow cytometry, cell culture and advanced imaging techniques is preferred
