Job Responsibilities:
Budgeting and Forecasting
- Support the annual budgeting and forecasting process, conducted biannually, by assisting with updates to group templates.
Cash Flow Forecasting
- Prepare monthly operating cash flow forecasts using Anaplan and identify any potential shortfalls.
Tracking and Analysis
- Conduct monthly variance analysis and provide commentary on discrepancies between actuals versus budget and forecast for both the profit and loss statement and key balance sheet accounts.
- Report on monthly working capital, including variance analysis, to the Group.
- Track and record actual versus budget/forecast for key expenditures such as CAPEX, IT OPEX, and Marketing Spend.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to monitor budget utilization.
Reporting
- Generate daily sales reports across all business lines.
- Prepare weekly airport traffic reports by terminal.
- Report on Sales Per Pax (SPP) by terminal and key nationalities.
- Calculate and accrue monthly variable rent for month-end close.
- Develop monthly business review meeting slides with detailed commentaries.
- Perform periodic reporting on Singapore air and sea traffic using publicly available sources and maintain the traffic database.
Business Development
- Analyze and validate key assumptions for new or renewed networks.
- Assist in preparing business development templates for executive committee review.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in financial analysis, budgeting, and forecasting.
- Proficiency in financial software and tools, including Anaplan.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to provide detailed variance analysis.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
