Job Position – Quality Assurance and Quality Control Engineer
The Quality Assurance and Quality Control (QA/QC) Engineer will play a critical role in ensuring the successful construction of the waste-to-energy plant. This position will oversee and implement quality control measures throughout the project, ensuring adherence to industry standards, regulatory requirements, and project specifications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement comprehensive QA/QC plans and procedures for the project.
- Conduct regular inspections and audits to monitor compliance with quality standards and specifications.
- Review and approve engineering drawings, material submittals, and construction procedures.
- Coordinate with contractors and suppliers to ensure that their work meets quality requirements.
- Identify and address any quality issues or non-conformances promptly.
- Prepare and maintain detailed quality records and documentation.
- Collaborate with the project team to ensure that quality is integrated into all project phases.
- Provide technical support and guidance to the construction team on quality-related matters.
- Ensure adherence to safety regulations and best practices.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering or Civil Engineering.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in quality assurance and quality control within the construction industry.
- Strong knowledge of industry standards, regulations, and best practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
- Proficient in quality management tools and software.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in the renewable energy or waste management industry.
- Certification in quality management (e.g., ISO 9001).
- Knowledge of construction project management methodologies.
