What's the Role
As a Senior Business Analyst, Finance & Control, you will work in a highly visible, flexible and collaborative team in a fast-paced semiconductor equipment manufacturing environment.The primary role is to support Director, Business Control on the Financial Controlling of the manufacturing site in Singapore. The incumbent would liaise closely with various other stakeholders within the organization.The ideal candidate is highly energetic, detailed and hands on. This position requires a solution-oriented candidate with a combination of business acumen, knowledge of financial best practices, and an analytical mindset.
The candidate must have the ability to draw key findings from a large data set and provide data driven solutions that are organized and simple to understand. The candidate must have the ability to work well with diverse stakeholder groups across the globe to solve business problems; good communication skills are a must.This is an individual contributor role and reports into Director, Business Control. He/she expects to work very closely with the Business Control team of Global Operations and Finance Shared Services team based in Singapore.
Accountabilities include but are not limited to:
Act a backfill for quarterly and yearly standard cost review/update and perform ad-hoc standard cost revision and cost roll requests during S4 Hana implementation.
Responsible for the actual cost calculation of systems / products and analysis of the variance between the pre and post calculations.
Responsible for production variance analysis.
Responsible for monthly forecast of systems / products and review with Business Unit(s).
Support month-end activities and prepare journal entries.
Develop and sustain "expert-level" understanding of diverse business processes, operational procedures, and financial data.
Represent GOPS Business Control in cross-functional projects or during system implementations.
Seek out opportunities to enhance and automate processes within specific areas to increase scalability and efficiency.
Undertake any other ad-hoc tasks as assigned.
What Will Make You Successful?
Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or equivalent professional qualification.
Minimum 5-8 years of costing and analysis experience preferred from manufacturing background.
Familiar with product costing in a manufacturing environment / process.
Demonstrated ability to understand business processes and developed in-depth knowledge in transactional data.
Strong influencing skills that deliver collaborative outcomes.
Meticulous and paying attention to details.
SAP experience required.
Strong knowledge of Excel and Microsoft Office.
Experience in system implementation and project management is preferred.
LEAN/Six Sigma certification will be a plus.
