As a Metal Trade Support, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth execution of metal trading transactions. You will serve as a liaison between our Front Office, Middle Office, and various business partners, including trading desks, vendors, suppliers, customers, risk management, and operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Post-Deal Physical: Oversee the physical aspects of metal trades, including tracking FX hedging, assisting in contract negotiations, managing surveyor relationships, and reporting on post-deal settlements
- Post-Deal Paper/Derivative: Manage the paper and derivative aspects of trades, monitor hedging positions, manage pricing, and coordinate with external parties
- Market and Logistics: Contribute to market analysis, manage warehouse relationships, and coordinate on metal exchange deliveries
Other requirements:
- Diploma / Bachelor's degree with at least 2 years experience in physical trading or derivative brokerage company
- Experience in bulk transport base metal minerals / base metals
- A team player with good time management skill, details oriented and interpersonal skill
- Fluent in both English and Mandarin (written and oral) for communicating with Chinese-speaking customers
