Programme Profile

Singapore Red Cross Medical Chaperone and Transportation (MCT) programme provides Medical Escort and Transportation services to individuals from disadvantaged backgrounds who face challenges attending their medical appointments or therapy sessions. Our service caters to various different transport and ancillary needs such as wheelchair transport, medical transporter conveyance, and accompanied escorts, ensuring the safety and well-being of our clients throughout their journey.


Job Description

In this role, you will be responsible for coordinating and overseeing operations, as well as managing any related external partner coordination provided to our clients. You will also work closely with the operations team to ensure seamless execution of all tasks and activities.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES


MCT Operations:

● Ensure smooth daily MCT operations

● Attend to all general enquiries via the hotline and email

● Handle operational matters pertaining to scheduling of accepted cases and transport arrangement

● Work closely with the operations team on scheduling and any related matters Operations Related External Partner Coordination

● Main coordinator and POC for external partners, including AIC, MSW & Caregivers MCT Referral Process Management

● Manage the referral process from AIC, ensuring timely handling of new referrals and follow-ups if necessary


Others:

● Ensure programme sustainability & support Executive with identifying operational gap(s)

● Minute taker

● Attend or participate department or society events

● Ad hoc project


JOB SPECIFICATION


Requirements

● Diploma in any discipline

● Strong administrative skills

● Proficient in Microsoft Office

● Good command of spoken English

● Preferred if there’s Valid Class 3/3A Driving License

● Prior experience working with development team and stakeholders on project schedule and issues is ideal

● Enjoy working with volunteers and senior citizens

● Demonstrate initiative and able to work as a team with a positive attitude

● Good interpersonal skills, with the ability to work well with other people of all levels

● Independent as well as good team player

● Willingness to work early on weekday mornings

● Meticulous with an eye for details and multi-task effectively

● Good written and verbal communication, including minutes taking and technical writing skills
