Job Responsibilities:
- Manage, analyze, develop, and automate software projects based on functional requirements
- Create automation plans and test scripts
- Identify, analyze, and automate manual tasks, along with handling issue fixes
- Take ownership of assigned work products and deliver within timelines
- Manage deployment pipelines and exposure to DevOps environments/tools like Git, Jenkins, JIRA, Confluence
- Handle L3 application production support, coordinate with infrastructure teams
- Actively participate in inception, daily stand-ups, and retrospective meetings
- Collaborate within a cross-functional team and represent testing efforts
- Independently learn tools/technologies and handle internal client queries.
Requirements:
- 4-5 years of software development experience with a proven track record in designing and delivering application solutions.
- Strong technical skills in Microsoft and .NET technologies are essential.
- Hands-on experience in programming with C#/VB.NET, .Net Core (1.0-2.2), MS SQL Server, and writing stored procedures. Experience with VBA programming, web services, ASP.NET, Web API, Windows Services, Python scripting, XML, JSON, and batch scripts is required.
- Willingness to work on L2/L3 application production support cycles, including coordinating with infrastructure teams.
- Ability to support UAT, application setup, and implement system security controls.
- Experience or knowledge in banking domains is an advantage.
- Exposure to GIT, Jenkins, and CICD workflows is a plus, as is proficiency with tools like JIRA and Confluence.
- Experience working in an Agile environment as part of a cross-functional, collaborative team across multiple locations is highly beneficial.
- Experience working with both Windows and Linux operating systems.
- Familiarity with testing tools like JIRA and Confluence is an added advantage.
- Optional but beneficial: experience developing cloud-native applications on platforms like AWS, OpenShift, and Dockers.
- Proficiency in Python and VBA programming would be an additional asset.
- Fluency in written and spoken English, with strong communication and interpersonal skills.
