Senoko is going to embark on an ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) transformation project that comprises various functions in Plant Maintenance, Purchasing, Finance and Stores. The primary objectives of this program are to streamline, optimize and automate our business processes and implement an ERP system that can facilitate workflows, automation and decision-making.
To accomplish this, we are in search of a highly motivated and experienced Project Manager to spearhead this initiative. The selected candidate will be entrusted with managing the entire project lifecycle, ranging from the evaluation and establishment of a business case to the successful delivery of the project, such as Operations, Maintenance, Engineering, IT, Finance, Purchasing, and Stores.
The ideal candidate should have prior experience in the utilities or a related industry, and should have led similar company-wide ERP implementation projects from inception to completion.
Your role:
1. Business Analysis
In the role of a business analyst, he or she is expected to:
o Conduct business analysis to identify opportunities for process improvement and to define business requirements for SAP implementations
o Work closely with stakeholders to define business processes, requirements, and use cases
o Develop the business case, evaluate and recommend the approach, budget, timeline, resources, vendors and solutions
o Conduct gap analysis to identify gaps between business requirements and system functionality
o Develop and maintain business requirement documents and work with vendors to develop functional specifications and other project-related documents
o Work with vendors to develop and execute test plans to ensure that implementations meet business requirements and quality standards
o Participate in user acceptance testing and ensure that issues are identified and resolved in a timely manner
o Work with the technical team to ensure that functional requirements are translated into technical requirements and system design and ensure that project requirements are aligned with technical capabilities and constraints
o Provide functional expertise and support to the technical team during system design and development
2. Project Management
In the role of a project manager, he or she is expected to:
o Lead and manage SAP feasibility study and SAP implementation project when the latter is approved from inception to completion
o Manage project scope, schedule, budget, quality, risks, and issues and ensure that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and meet the project’s success criteria
o Ensure that project scope and requirements are clearly defined and aligned to business objectives, and manage changes to project scope, schedule, and budget
o Manage project communication, including project status reporting, stakeholder management, change management communication
o Plan for deliverables for UAT tests and other quality measures and gates for the systems being implemented.
o Manage project budget and vendors or contractors assigned to the project
o Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, and project-related documents and document lessons learnt and after action reviews
o Ensure that project risks are identified and managed, and that project issues are resolved in a timely manner
o Provide leadership and direction to the project team, ensuring that all team members are working effectively and efficiently
Your profile:
· A degree in computer science, information systems or equivalent
· At least 7 relevant working experience with min 5 years in managing SAP feasibility study and implementation projects
· Familiar with SAP implementation methodologies and experience implementing, configuring and supporting FICO module in S/4HANA. Exposure to supporting SAP MM and PS modules implementation an added advantage.
· Familiar with latest SAP technologies (eg SAP BTP, MM Fiori apps etc).
· Certification in SAP Enterprise Asset Management / Plant Maintenance, Procurement, Inventory Management, Finance and Cost Controlling preferred
· Certification in these areas is a plus: PMP, PRINCE2, CBAP, ITIL
· Good knowledge of accounting and finance business processes and best practices in a power plant or manufacturing company.
· Possess practical knowledge of managing the procurement, inventory, and logistics of materials in a power plant or manufacturing company.
· Strong project management skills with a track record of delivering projects on time and within budget.
· Facilitate and spearhead the collaboration of cross-functional teams to optimize finance, procurement, inventory and material management processes..
· Work effectively in fast-paced environments and manage multiple projects are a must.
