Position Overview:
We are seeking a passionate and experienced artistic swimming coach to join our team and lead our development and competitive squads. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the sport, excellent coaching skills, and a dedication to athlete development.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement comprehensive training programs for development and competitive squads.
- Provide technical instruction, choreography, and conditioning guidance to athletes.
- Prepare athletes for local and international competitions, including routine design, practice planning, and event management.
- Create a positive and supportive training environment that fosters athlete growth and development.
- Collaborate with club staff to ensure the overall success of the program.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as an artistic swimming coach at the club level in a country where Artistic Swimming is an established competitive sport.
- Strong technical knowledge of artistic swimming techniques and rules.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively with athletes of various ages and skill levels.
- Passion for the sport of artistic swimming and a commitment to athlete development.
Preferred Qualifications:
- National or international coaching certifications, preferably issued by a National Federation.
- Experience coaching competitive athletes at a high level in Singapore.
- A strong understanding of athlete psychology and motivation.
