Business Development Executive

The Business Development Executive plays a critical role in generating new business opportunities and building strong client relationships. The primary goal is to drive sustainable financial growth through boosting sales and forging strong relationships with clients. This role involves market research, prospecting, client outreach, and developing sales strategies to increase revenue and market share.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Lead Generation & Market Research:Identify potential clients and business opportunities by conducting in-depth market research.
    Generate leads and convert them into prospects using various channels (cold calls, emails, networking, etc.).
    Maintain knowledge of industry trends, market activities, and competitors.
  2. Client Acquisition & Relationship Management:Develop and manage long-term client relationships by understanding client needs and delivering tailored solutions.
    Initiate and manage meetings, presentations, and negotiations with potential clients.
    Provide post-sales support and account management to ensure customer satisfaction and retention.
  3. Sales & Revenue Generation:Develop and execute effective sales strategies to achieve sales targets and revenue goals.
    Work closely with the marketing team to align business development and promotional efforts.
    Identify and explore new business areas, partnerships, and strategic alliances.
  4. Proposal & Contract Management:Prepare business proposals, quotes, and presentations for prospective clients.
    Negotiate terms, agreements, and close contracts.
    Ensure timely and accurate execution of contracts and sales agreements.
  5. Reporting & Analysis:Track sales activities, progress, and report to management regularly.
    Provide insights and recommendations based on sales data and market research.
    Monitor sales metrics and KPIs, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
  6. Collaboration & Teamwork:Collaborate with internal teams, including marketing, sales, product development, and customer service to deliver optimal results.
    Participate in team meetings, brainstorming sessions, and contribute to overall business strategy.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales, or related field. Minimium 2 years of relevant working experience in Food Industry.
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills.
  • Ability to understand and analyze market trends and customer needs.
  • Results-driven and proactive with a strong entrepreneurial mindset.
  • 5.5 days work per week, may require to work on Public Holiday.
