Job Description:
- Ice Production Support:Assist in the operation of ice-making machines (e.g., tube ice, crushed ice machines).
Monitor and adjust machine settings under the supervision of senior operators.
Conduct regular checks to ensure machines are functioning properly and report any issues.
- Ice Packaging:Pack ice into bags or containers, ensuring the correct weight and packaging format.
Seal, label, and prepare packaged ice for storage or delivery.
Assist with loading packaged ice onto trucks or into cold storage areas.
- Quality Control:Inspect ice for quality, ensuring it meets the required standards for cleanliness, shape, and size.
Identify and remove defective ice products.
- Maintenance and Cleaning:Clean and sanitize production and packing areas, following hygiene and safety regulations.
Assist with minor maintenance tasks, such as clearing blockages or refilling supplies.
- Inventory Management:Track the amount of ice produced and report any discrepancies in production logs.
Maintain an adequate supply of packaging materials, such as bags, labels, and pallets.
- Health & Safety Compliance:Follow safety protocols, particularly in the cold environment.
Wear required personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times.
- General Assistance:Assist with any additional tasks as assigned by supervisors, such as moving products or organizing storage.
