Your Role and Responsibilities :
- Responsible for Application Support of mainframe Host Applications. This includes Production Incidents, investigations, Implementing Fixes, and Minor Enhancements to the applications.
- Conducting Internal Daily Team Huddle meeting with the entire team members, Part of Application Maintenance Daily Huddle, Mainframe Touch Point meeting (Which contains Infrastructure upgrades (DB2, CICS, COBOL Version Upgrades) which involves coordination with Ensono Team.
- Part of Regression Project Meetings which we need to provide testing support the Regression cycle batch runs
Required Professional and Technical Expertise :
- Experience in Development, Maintenance, Production support, Migration projects.
- Hands-on-experience COBOL, JCL, DB2, CICS, VSAM, EAZYTRIEVE, SAS, ASSEMBLERS, MQ, IDMS, PL/1, IMS.
- Excellent knowledge in Retail Management and Banking Financial Services, Insurance domain and SDLC process (Requirements Gathering, Impact Analysis, design, Coding, Testing, and Implementation), Agile Methodology.
- Experience involves Design of new process, Enhancement of existing system to meet new requirements, Providing Maintenance and production Support to the existing systems.
- Strong Analytical and problem solving abilities.
Desired Background:
- Diploma/Degree in Computer Science, Computing, Electrical Engineering, IT or equivalent with Java training or certification with
- At least 6 to 9 year experience in system analysis, design, and programming.
