Job Descriptions:
- Work with Lead Project Engineer during project execution and consolidate technical issues for coordination
- Participates in identification and sourcing long lead equipment, assuring Front End Engineering Design contractor support until equipment is assigned to the contractor.
- Project Focal point with Vendors for Electrical & Instrumentation equipment like Motors, Transmitters, Junction Boxes, Instrumentation /Electrical cables.
- Engages project team and functional resources to verify that the design and construction is consistent with project specifications and standards.
- Serves as interface between Project Team and Contractor. Coordinate with Vendors, Clients and 3rd Party Inspectors on project's development.
- Ensure smooth transition between project stages.
- Plan / control and execute project to meet the schedule and costing, as per contractual delivery time and cost budget established for the projects. Take the ownership of project in profitability, quality and improve project margin.
- Generate Engineering documents for submission / approval for Engineering / Fabrication as well as Procurement of package items
- Prepare periodic project progress reports
Requirements :
- Diploma/Degree in Electrical & Instrumentation / Mechanical Engineering
- 2-3 years related experience in engineering and project management in Process packaging companies.
- Experience in Ex-Register, Ex Check sheets, Compex/ IEC Ex / EEHA is an advantage.
- Some experience in interpreting and understanding P&IDs is an advantage.
- Fair knowledge in system package skids
- Good verbal and written communication skills
