Job Summary

  • location: Tuas South - West
  • Working Days: Mon to Fri
  • Work Hours: 8.30am till *5pm
  • Salary: Basic $8000 - $12000 (metal, alloy or oil and gas experience and knowledge)

Job Description

  • Adhere to the Group HSE Environmental and Quality policies
  • Review & understand customers specification & relating PO’s
  • Establish clear & workable relationships with the BU’s customer base
  • Quote customer enquiries as requested within a 24hr period
  • Raise sales orders in accordance with customers PO’s contract review SO to ensure compliance
  • Search stock system both internally & within other BU, allocate to suit customers PO
  • Ensure work is planned, organized & controlled in such a way to maximize time spent with the customer.
  • Raise non-conformance reports & deal with customer complaints as required
  • Provide the Regional Director with sales, management reports, forecasts & trends along with focus KPI’s
  • Update internal databases, other related systems and/or requested targeted data
  • Other duties notwithstanding the above where appropriate

  • Sound knowledge of the market, knowledge of processing options and a keen attention to detail.

  • Demonstrate an understanding of fault finding & implementing corrective/preventive actions
  • Discipline to regularly update the systems and the various data/info bases to ensure accurate & timely actions within the designated period. Time player
  • Accountabilities and Performance Measures
  • Zero safety, environmental or quality incidents.
  • Ensure quotation are in accordance with customer requirements
  • Obtain intel on current & future requirements plus relevant competition info
  • Obtain profitable & sustainable business to achieve sales targets
  • So entered on to the system and with production within 24hrs of winning the order
  • Ensure customer receives in line with their PO requirements
  • Develop strong customer relationships and a understanding of the market therein
  • Non-conformances are identifies and corrective/preventive actions are implemented
  • Good understanding of budgetary requirements and an ability to correlate budget and actual performance
  • Clear visibility of CRM information within the SG sales

Job Requirements

  • Educated to degree level
  • Must have good English written and verbal communication skills
  • Good arithmetic skills are required
  • Ability to perform under pressure and stressful conditions.
  • 5+ years’ experience in sales field, especially in Oil &Gas industry
