Key Responsibilities:
- Lead generation role and be responsible for conducting market research, developing solutions, prospecting, and expanding referral networks to seek out potential clients.
- Generate and qualify new leads, establish and maintain strong and lasting relationships with clients and providing continuing pre-sales and post-sales support in managing and meeting their expectations.
- Manage accounts effectively throughout the sales cycle – Prospecting, Business Development, Deal Confirmation and Post-Sales Support.
- Negotiate with current and new clients on contracts and sales orders.
- Prepare costing, tenders, proposals and quotations to current and new clients.
- Collectively resolve clients’ complaints, respond to complaints from clients and give after-sales support on a timely basis.
- Provide technical support and advice for clients and refer to engineer specialist to determine if query is to be redirected to factory if it is beyond current team’s expertise.
- Provide weekly report updates of sales, pipelines, leads, opportunities and sales activities.
- Other ad hoc duties as assigned by superior or management.
Requirements:
- Minimum 3 years of experience in technical and/or engineering sales preferably in refineries/petrochemical plants/pharmaceutical plants or related industries.
- Knowledge of industrial supplies (valve & actuators, filter, instrument, gauge) will be a plus.
