About Morris Allen English (MAE)

MAE operates under the Brighter World Education holding company which manages 5 education brands, spanning from preschools, Chinese/English/Maths tutoring, to adult and international education. The Role

We are looking for curriculum development interns to join our new and exciting Research & Development team, where they will be focusing on our Primary School Curriculum. The job scope includes:

✅ Conducting research on ways to most effectively teach and engage primary school students

✅ Writing interesting lesson material for our new 2025 syllabus


You would be perfect for this role if…

✅ You are an undergraduate student, majoring in English Literature, Linguistics, History, Psychology, or any similar humanities/social science subject with ample writing exposure

✅ You have an interest in children's education and enjoy helping children improve academically and intellectually

✅ You are available to intern for a minimum of 3 months, starting anytime from October


What We Offer

✅ Full-time intern compensation of $800/month

✅ Flexible working hours – hybrid working, in our Orchard offices 2-3x a week

✅ Supervised training under an ex-MOE curriculum developer and MOE scholar

✅ Opportunities for full-time conversion into a curriculum role. For outstanding interns, there will be further full-time opportunities within the larger Brighter World group (e.g. professional development beyond curriculum/teaching, including managerial, marketing, and business development skills).
