Job Summary:
As an AWS Solution Architect, you will be responsible for designing, deploying, and managing scalable, secure, and highly available cloud infrastructure on AWS. You will work closely with stakeholders, including developers, DevOps engineers, and IT operations, to ensure that solutions are optimized for cost, performance, and security.
Key Responsibilities:
- Architecture Design: Design and implement AWS cloud architecture that meets business needs while optimizing for performance, scalability, security, and cost-efficiency.
- Cloud Strategy: Develop cloud strategy and guide the organization in adopting and leveraging AWS services effectively.
- Infrastructure as Code: Implement and manage infrastructure using IaC tools like AWS CloudFormation, Terraform, or Ansible.
- Security: Ensure AWS solutions follow best practices for security and compliance, includin managing IAM roles, VPC configurations, and encryption standards.
- Cost Management: Monitor cloud spend and optimize resources to ensure efficient usage of AWS services.
- Consulting & Collaboration: Work closely with development teams, DevOps, and stakeholders to provide guidance on best practices in cloud architecture and operations.
- Automation & Orchestration: Design automation processes for deployment, monitoring, and scaling applications.
- Continuous Improvement: Stay up-to-date with AWS developments, providing recommendations for continuous improvement and innovation.
- Migration & Integration: Lead cloud migration efforts for legacy systems and integrate new
- AWS solutions with existing infrastructures.
- Troubleshooting: Provide support in identifying and resolving complex technical issues related to cloud architecture.
Qualifications:
• Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in cloud architecture, with at least 3 years working specifically with AWS.
- Proven experience in architecting scalable, secure, and reliable systems in AWS.
- Experience with cloud migration strategies and execution.
Technical Skills:
- Expertise in AWS services (EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS, IAM, VPC, CloudFormation, etc.).
- Knowledge of networking, security, and storage in AWS environments.
- Hands-on experience with infrastructure as code (Terraform, CloudFormation).
- Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
- Familiarity with DevOps practices (CI/CD, Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes).
- Certifications (Preferred):
- AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate or Professional.
- AWS Certified DevOps Engineer or other relevant AWS certifications.
Soft Skills:
- Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to explain complex concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to new technologies and challenges.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degre in Computer Education.
- Experience with multi-cloud environments or hybrid architectures.
- Hands-on experience with container orchestration tools like Kubernetes or AWS ECS/EKS.
- Experience in financial governance of cloud environments.
