Experienced in performing Preventive maintenance of production equipments and also ensuring that measuring and testing instruments are calibrated correctly and meet industry standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform calibration of instruments and equipment PT/ TT/ RH/ Flow meters/ load cells of tanks and reactors and other instruments makes Endress & hauser/ Emerson etc instruments and coordinate with vendors for other instruments eg MAS, particle counters , standard weights, TOC, conductivity , PH meters according to established procedures and standards.
- Perform preventive maintenance of filling equipments.
- Maintain accurate records of calibration procedures, results, and adjustments made.
- Diagnose and resolve issues with instruments that are out of calibration.
- Perform routine maintenance on calibration equipment to ensure proper functioning by scheduling with the users
- Ensure all calibration activities comply with relevant industry standards, regulations, and quality systems.
- Keep track of calibration equipment inventory and ensure availability of necessary tools and materials.
- Provide support and guidance to internal and external customers regarding calibration issues and best practices.
- Train other technicians and staff on calibration procedures and the use of calibration equipment.
Skills and Qualifications
- Proficiency in using calibration tools and software, understanding of measurement principles, and knowledge of industry standards (e.g., ISO, NIST).
- Strong focus on accuracy and precision in measurements and record-keeping.
- Ability to identify issues with equipment and determine appropriate solutions.
- Good written and verbal communication skills for documentation and customer interactions.
- Efficient management of calibration schedules and equipment inventory.
- Typically requires a diploma or degree in electronics, instrumentation, engineering, or a related field.
Experience
- 5-8 years of experience in calibration or a related field, with proficiency in handling complex equipment and procedures and the ability to manage calibration program
- Require to work in shifts ( General shift and regular shift) in manufacturing plants.
- Work experience in cleanroom environments.
- Experienced in handling physical activity, including standing for long periods and handling heavy equipment.
