Responsibilities:
Tender:
- Assist in tender process and report to tender manager, which includes prepare and analyse bidders’ commercial proposals and etc
- Provide support in post-contract process on the subcontractor award, prepare subcontract documents
- Collaborate with consultants, tender teams, commercial teams on tender and procurement process
- Provide site management with clear and concise tender documentations during project commencement
Procurement:
- Conduct quantity take-offs, prepare bills of quantities and manage measurement processes
- Source and procure materials, goods and services from subcontractors and suppliers
- Negotiate contracts and prices to meet the project budget
- Prepare and administer subcontract agreements
- Coordinate with project team to understand requirements and timelines
- Collaborate with project team and subcontractors to ensure commercial objectives are met
- Ensure compliance with company policies, legal requirements and industry standards
- Maintain good relationships with suppliers and subcontractors to ensure quality and reliability
Requirements:
- Degree in Building Construction Management / Quantity Surveying or a related field
- At least 2 to 6 years of experience in a similar position in construction industry
- Candidate with more experience will be considered for a senior role
- Experience in handing tendering, cost control and procurement process in the construction industry
- Familiar with industry-standard software for estimating and procurement (eg. CostX, Cubicost and etc) would be advantageous
- Highly motivated, self-driven with initiatives to work independently
- Ability to organize, plan and strategize within the timeline
- Meticulous, analytical, eye for details and a good team player
- Ability to multi-task in a fast paced and dynamic environment
