Responsibilities:
- Assist Trade Lane Management and Ocean Business Development.
- To find new opportunities for Ocean Freight, keep an eye on and investigate the market.
- Collaborate with the Branch Manager to establish and meet annual goals.
- To maximize monthly Ocean GP, haggle over terms, prices, and services with the authorized vendors and coloaders.
- Work with our other overseas stations to arrange and negotiate. sales visits with both current and potential clients.
- Engage in any bidding projects or current and upcoming RFQs.
- Organize and assist with day-to-day operations at Ocean.
Requirements:
- Minimum Degree in Logistics and Supply Chain or other relevant fields
- Minimum 5 years of work-related experience in Ocean Freight Procurement, preferably with freight forwarding (FCL/LCL) experience
- Experience in Tariff management and Tender management
- A team Leading and self-motivated individual
- Ability to engage with various internal and external stakeholders
