Job description:
We are seeking skilled waterproofing tradesmen to fill in the role of a Field Applicator for construction projects in Singapore. The successful applicant's primary responsibility is to provide support for Triflex waterproofing product application to all our customers. He will work closely with building contractors, engineers, site supervisors and facility managers to create solutions for waterproofing challenges and to demonstrate application techniques waterproofing projects. Responsibilities
1. Demonstrate the application of Triflex waterproofing products on project sites and during mock up training to building contractors, project site engineers, site workers and architects.
2. Provide technical support and guidance to project engineers, building contractors and property owners on waterproofing solutions.
3. Conduct site survey and assess waterproofing needs and provide recommendations
4. Support with site and product application inspection throughout the project term.
5. Facilitate preparation of materials, tools and/or necessary equipment needed for practical application demo
6. Collaborate with internal teams to ensure project requirements of customers for products and services are addressed.
7. To perform any other duties assigned by immediate superior.
8. Stay updated on industry trends, building codes, and regulations related to waterproofing.
Qualifications Required
1. Minimum 5 years working experience as a site supervisor for building envelope construction, specializing in waterproofing, roofing, flooring or tiling.
2. Well acquainted with various building envelope materials and construction methodologes.
3. Extensive experience in handling waterproofing materials, application techniques, industry standards, as well as local regulations and building codes for waterproofing in Singapore.
4. Proven track record in working with project engineers, building contractors and property owners.
5. Able to understand shop drawings and specification documents.
6. Demonstrated ability to build rapport and maintain strong relationships with customers and partners.
7. Able to understand shop drawings and specification documents.
8. Fluent in both spoken and written English, knowledge of local language is an advantage.
9. Must be physically fit, mentally agile and able to work under varying work schedule.
10. Flexibility to work extended and non-standard hours as required.
11. Possesses class 3 driving license in Singapore.
