Job Description
● Successful candidate is expected to exercise due diligence and provide immediate full-time supervision according to the plans of building works approved under section 5 of the Building Control Act;
● Must comply with his/her statutory duties with regard to the supervision of works on site as stipulated in Building Control Act and Regulations; and
Report to and work under the direction of Qualified Person for Supervision [QP(S)] and/or Senior Resident Engineer.
Requirements
● Possess Degree in Civil & Structural Engineering from a recognized University and eligible for registration with the Professional Engineers Board
● Must be literate in English and have a good knowledge to use computer, computer software, such as Microsoft Word, Excel and Power point.
● Familiar with Microsoft Project to keep track and monitor the Project.
The candidate should demonstrate good technical knowledge, possess a strong, mature and proven ability to organize, manage and motivate the site staff team and use sound judgment in relation to construction matters.
Senior Resident Engineer (SRE):
● At least 10 years of site experience and/or experience in the supervision of Civil Engineering works; and
● Site supervision experience in waste management related projects and/or utility (power/ oil & gas/ petrochemical) related projects would be an advantage
Resident Engineer (RE):
● At least 5 years of site experience and/or experience in the supervision of Civil Engineering works; and
● Site supervision experience in waste management related projects and/or utility (power/ oil & gas/ petrochemical) related projects would be an advantage
