We are seeking a skilled and meticulous Associate Operations Analyst to join our Risk Analysis Centre. The primary responsibility of this role is to monitor and analyse open-source information including CCTVs, focusing on emerging events, weather patterns, terrain information, and events. The successful candidate will provide timely and accurate assessments to support informed decision-making within our organization.
Responsibilities
CCTV Monitoring
Develop operations SOP for CCTV monitoring, incident reporting and monitoring of alerts from CCTV.
Operationalise CCTV monitoring within the context of 24.7.365 GSOC operations.
Threat Identification
Identify and verify potential threats or risks to organizational assets and personnel.
Propose proactive measures to mitigate identified risks.
Collaboration
Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including security teams, risk management, and executive leadership, to ensure organizational resilience.
Technology Utilisation
Leverage advanced analytical tools and physical security technologies to enhance the resilience of client assets.
Stay updated on advancements in unified physical security software and methodologies.
Data Analysis
Analyse and interpret collected data to identify patterns, trends, and risks related to weather, terrain, and breaking events.
Utilize analytical tools to process and visualize data for comprehensive reporting.
Assessment & Reporting
Provide timely and accurate assessments based on open-source information.
Prepare reports as required on assessed threats and courses of actions.
Incident Management
Respond appropriately to emerging events and situations including escalating and activation of incident management protocols.
Continuous Learning
Stay informed about global and regional geopolitical events, weather phenomena, and emerging technologies relevant to the security field.
Requirements
Education
Bachelor's degree in Security Studies, Intelligence Studies, Political Science, Geography, or a relevant field.
Analytical Skills
Strong analytical and critical thinking skills with the ability to synthesize complex information.
Technology Proficiency
Proficient in the use of advanced analytical tools, unified physical security software and other relevant technologies.
Collaboration
Proven ability to work collaboratively within a team and across departments.

Experience
Minimum of two (2) years of experience in GSOC operations with a focus on CCTV monitoring and incident management or five (5) years of relevant experience in lieu of a bachelor’s degree.
Communication Skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills for preparing comprehensive reports and conveying complex operational matters.
Security Clearance
Preferred, but not mandatory. Willingness to undergo a security clearance process if required.
Adaptability
Ability to adapt to evolving priorities and effectively manage multiple tasks simultaneously under challenging conditions.
